George Bush Presidential Library and Museum is situated in the A &
M University in Texas is a research institution like many museums. It
has a collection of about 60,000 historic objects like personally used
things, gifts given by the people, State gifts etc; The museum is so big
that it has seventeen thousand sq ft of exhibits which are permanent and
three thousand sq ft consisting of changing exhibits. Permanent exhibits
consists of George Bush’s life history, service career, and the events
happened during his period and changing exhibits show about the current
events in the Bush Administration, history and the presidents of America.
The important feature is a class room used by students visiting as traditional
classroom or computer lab, which is unique of this library and is not
found in any of the other library network.
The numerous personal and official papers of 38000000 pages, 1000000 photographs, 2500 hours of video tapes and 70000 museum objects it. They document the President George Bush’s public career as a congress man, United Nations Ambassador, president, vice president, Republican committee chairman, Intelligence agency director and Chief of US Liaison office in China.
All baseball lovers like the Baseball museum, situated in The Ballpark in Arlington, consisting of the legends of the game. The stars like Juan Gonzalez, Ivan Rodriguez and Nolan Ryan are highlighted in the Texas rangers. The museum is built in 17000 sq ft with two floors and is considered as the best Baseball museum. About 140 items of the collection include historic artifacts in the history of baseball. The main items in the museum are grouped as defense, sluggers and pitchers. It consists of the bats, balls, gloves, jerseys, trophies and other belongings of the famous players like Ruth, Clemente, Carew, Gehrig, Cobb, Campanella, Williams, Bender, Boudreau and many other famous players. One of his main features of the museum is the KING OF SWAT crown given by his friends in 1921 to Babe Ruth in New York. For the Ist time many items are out of Cooperstown.
