The Art Car Museum owned by a private institution has a collection of modern arts with importance given to artists, fine arts and art cars. The museum known as Garage Mahal by many people consists of most elaborate, imaginative and artfully constructed low riders, art cars and mobile contractions and art gallery consisting of the work of national, regional and local artists. The 1984 Collision Show consisted of car workshops and Art car parade around the city at Lawndale Art Center. The museum has a showroom consisting of post modern cars which are remodeled factory models with some specifications of images and visions of individuals. In February 1998 The Art Car Museum was founded by James Harithas, and artist Ann Harithas and Modern Arts Museum. David Best, the car artist created chrome exterior and the characteristic scrap metal. It is open from 11 AM to 6 PM from Wednesday to Sunday.
