Jeff Mc Kissack, who works as a post carrier in Houston, Texas, was a lover of orange and to honor his much loved fruit, he dedicated a small built-up, near his wooden house, to form, “The Orange Show”, and this took place between 1958 and 1980. Mc Kissak used some second hand scraps and building materials like tiles, fencing, bricks and farm implements to convert his home into an architectural network of walkways, arenas, balconies and the exhibits are adorned with mosaics and brilliantly painted iron figures.

After the death of Mc Kissack, Houston arts supporter Marilyn Oshman organized a non-profit foundation to safeguard the wonderful, “The Orange Show”, which was donated 21 miscellaneous section of Houston, and they include Dominique, East End funerary director Tommy Schlitzberger, and members of the legendary Texas rock band ZZ Top.
